Phonics Focus Year 3 CD-ROM provides interactive computer-based activities for pupils to develop their phonic skills in order to reinforce their spelling skills. The CD-ROM teaches how to use phonics to support spelling choices so that children are confidently meeting government expectations. The CD-ROM also offers a range of structured, progressive activities for individual learning, with clearly determined objectives and provides screens suitable for whole-class teaching using interactive whiteboards. Phonics Focus Year 3 CD-ROM can be used to support Searchlights for Spelling materials. It can also stand alone as an independent phonics programme to support DfES spelling guidelines.
